VOTE FOR US NOW – 1 VOTE PER DAY SO KEEP ON VOTING!!

Can you please vote for us!!

We will be profiling each of the finalists of our Haier New Zealand/Cooking 4 Change competition in order for all of you to get to know a little bit about them and what they do- and hopefully help you decide who you would like to vote for. To start off: Kapiti Womens Centre.

The Kapiti Women’s Centre is a feminist organisation which promotes the physical, mental and spiritual well being of women on the Kapiti Coast.

Kapiti Womens Centre is a haven for women and their dependents in Kapiti. They provide referrals to all other services, free counselling courses, fellowship and a variety of other support services. Funding is becoming a real issue and they are working really hard to keep this service.

Due to a government funding change they need to source quite a significant shortfall to ensure the women of their community remain empowered by the services they supply as a charitable organisation. They offer free counselling and discounted courses to women who are the catalyst for change in not only themselves but their family’s, their friends, and their communities.

Kapiti Women’s Centre have mentioned that they might raffle the fridge in order to raise funds to be able to continue providing the services they offer.

If you like the sound of these guys, don’t forget to hit that vote button in the link accompanying this post! Each vote counts!
