We’re Back!
KWC is open for Term 2, and we’d love to see you all! Don’t forget that you are always welcome to come in and have a cuppa and some time out, or a good chat with one of our centre workers. We’ve also got lots of info about what’s happening here at the centre, and in the wider community.
Term 2 Course Registrations Open!
Our Term 2 course programme is now open for registration. We are offering a diverse range of courses, half of which are brand new! Zumba, Te Reo, Drawing, Meditation, Parenting…just to name a few. Click here to read all about them. Courses are still only $15 (with $15 equipment fee for art courses), and your payment confirms your place on the course. Some courses fill up very quickly! Low cost child care is available during courses. Please phone 902 6222 with enquiries.
Massage and Manicures
Niccy will be here on a Wednesday afternoon offering a file and polish as well as head, neck and shoulder massages.
Both treatments are $10, half of which Niccy donates to the Kapiti Women’s Centre. Please speak to the duty Centre Worker to make an appointment.
This is a great opportunity to receive a wonderful treatment at a great price!
2015 Kapiti Women’s Triathlon
On Sunday, another successful Triathlon was held with many motivated women completing the triathlon. Our very own Sarah Main – a 2015 Scholarship Winner, was an inspiration to us all by completing all 3 phases. Well done Sarah!
We also had our very own KWC Team, consisting of Becky (runner), Sue (cyclist) and Helen (swimmer) competing and making us all proud!
Congratulations to all of those who participated in this years triathlon, you empower us with your motivation and inspiration!
Kapiti Women’s Triathlon
The Kapiti Women’s Triathlon is being held on Sunday 1st March. Join in the fun, we consider every women who gets to the start line is a winner! The triathlon is just one of many pathways to wellbeing here at the Kapiti Women’s Centre and it is very beneficial for us as it contributes to our funding which enables us to provide the great services that we do. Register Now!!
