Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands”.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
Treatments are generally given on a massage table. You do not remove your clothes and you can ask to have a light covering over you during the session.
Treatments are available Friday afternoons, sessions are approximately 45 minutes and cost $10 which is donated to the Centre.
