KAPITI FAMILY VIOLENCE RESPONSE – WHITE RIBBON EVENTS
SATURDAY 21 NOVEMBER – KAPITI COMMUNITY CENTRE 1.45PM
COME ALONG & SHOW YOUR SUPPORT
- WHITE RIBBON Riders will come off SH1 into Iver Trask place through to the Community Centre and park up outside.
- Youth Quest will welcome the bike riders with their Haka as per last year.
- Riders will make their way inside the community centre and Ross will welcome everyone. The Mayor and Rob McCann will speak and then the floor will be open to the Riders to speak.
- Some W/R biscuits will be available to hand out during the time the riders are around and the Kapiti Festival will be on next door at Kapiti School.
- Light refreshments will be provided and there will be an opportunity to mingle with the riders before they head off.

WEDNESDAY 25 NOVEMBER – WHITE RIBBON DAY– Healthy Relationships
- White Ribbon posters displayed around the community promoting healthy relationships;
- Say No to Violence Flags are already up around Council/Coastlands/Kapiti Road down to the Beach area;
- Press releases from the local media & radio;
- White Ribbon biscuits to be distributed to the pubs and local government agencies;
- White Ribbon Displays at all three Libraries.
